Shared Lunch

Yabadabadoo - tomorrow is our shared lunch day. We are celebrating another fabulous term of learning! Congratulations to you all on a marvellous term. I am really looking forward to a fun last day of term.

What a gorgeous day for a walk to the Library!

We had a refreshingly brisk walk to the library this morning after the sleet and hail showers. Listened to a great story at the Library, got out some great reads for the holidays and by the time we walked back the sun was shining on us. We just had to stop for a swing at the park!

A sad day for me.....

I am very sad that I was not well enough to be at school today. I am really not well and it would not be fair to share my germs with you all. I hope you had a great day with Mrs G. I am very excited to see you updated the blog. I will try and get some more on here tonight so please check back later. I might be at school tomorrow. I will be if I am well enough but Mrs D is in the class for the day.

How much fun can we have - all dressed up with somewhere to go???? Can't wait for our show on Friday. Check back soon for photos and updates....

PS and today - believe it or not 16 (yes sixteen) of us spelt all of our words correctly for our spelling test - that is a record. Well done learning legends in Room 4!!!!

Happy days....

I am just loving being back with my class. We had sooooo much fun today. We read,we talked, discussed, shared, created, sang, laughed and had a whole lot of fun together. I am soooo lucky!

Assembly update...

Yabadabadoo - I have found the song for our fairytale parade - it is called "Today was a Fairytale" - perfect!

Back in class...

It sure was great to be back with you all today!!! I had a fabulous day and hope you did too. Please make sure you practise the words for our songs and get the rest of your costumes together.

Have a look over your goal sheet with your parents and bring it back tomorrow.

Goldilocks and the three bears

Goldilocks and the three bears
One morning Goldilocks came without warning
Upon a house and found the door to be ajar
She crept in and found the kitchen
Porridge had filled three bowls
The big one’s too hot
The middle one’s too cold
The little one was just right
She ate it all till it was gone
Goldilocks went to the living room
Where she found three chairs
The big one’s too hard
The middle one’s too soft
The little one was just right
She rocked and rocked until it broke.
Goldilocks went to the bedroom
Where she found three beds

When the three bears returned home

Another fun day of maths...

Thanks to our new equipment which helped us to meaure how heavy things were. The biggest discovery was how light one gram is and how heavy 1kg is.

Mrs D and I think it would be a great idea if we dressed up as fairytale characters for our assembly! What do you think? If you have anything suitable to wear could you please bring it to school. Maybe you even have something you could share with a friend in class...

Crazy weather weekend...

I think that there will be a lot of stories told and information shared on Monday about the crazy weather this weekend. I wonder what we can do to help people in Christchurch. Can we have a think about what we might do and share our ideas on Monday morning.

Funky Friday Tomorrow - YAY
