Yet another update...

We have just been on a tour - we met the mummy..... 
then we did a tour of people of the world gallery and made costumes, flags and wrote and sang national anthems.  This is AMAZING!!!!
We have just set up our sleeping bags in discovery world and soon we are getting ready for bed.  After that we are having a tropical deluxe butterfly supper then we are going on a night walk................... I hope the mummy doesn't hear us....

Today we went to discovery world we are doing so many exciting things.  We are staying the night in discovery world.  Kaelen
I liked it when to the gardens and performed on stage and we looked at the bird aviaries.  Jake
When we went to Cadbury world we got to wrap up presents.  There are chocolates in them.  Some people wrote the gift card to themself, from themself.  Bridget
I liked when we were looking at the Maori food gathering in the past.  Aaliyah
We've had lots of fun at all the places we've been.  My favourite was Cadburys because I've never been there before.  It wa a good surprise.  Alex
It has been fun so far.  The dinosaur park was really really really fun especially when I went down the dinosaur slide.  Thomas

I really like when we went to the dinosaur park because I liked swinging on the tyres. Kurt.

At the Museum...

Yay, we are at the museum now.... We have had a magical day.  It all started at the Dinosaur Park, then we went to the secret destination - Santa's grotto at Cadbury world!  It was SOOOOOOOO cool.  We all got to wrap up Chocolates in boxes for Xmas presents and get our photo with Santa and see all the cool Christmas displays.  Then we went to the bird aviaries and played at the gardens.  We all got to sing and dance on stage in the bandstand.  Now we are at the Museum.  We are learning about Pre European Food Gathering....   We can't wait to set up for the night in discovery world..... more later..........

Friday tomorrow - YAY

I can't wait to be back in class with you all tomorrow.   I am sooooo excited about Funky Friday.  I hope you are in the mood to start Christmas creation!  I think our potato people might be ready for a hair cut and if you remember to bring in fruits and vegetables we can create again!!!!  YAY YAY

On to the next step of the learning journey...

Today was SOOOOO exciting.  We have all decided on the next part of our learning journey.  We are going to spend the next three weeks researching and answering our questions.  We can present our learning in any form as long as it is in our own words.  We can use photos, movies, powerpoints, pictures, words, posters...
We would really like your help with our research.  Here are our challenges...

Mason    Can you eat all vegetables raw? Can you cook all vegetables?

Today was AMAZING.  We moved the tyres, weeded, planted, watered, ate alfalfa, and much, much more.  I am sure you can tell how much fun we had...
